Can I put a roll-off on the street?

In Peoria, under the Public Works right-of-way permit we apply for at $20 per 30 days. East Peoria, Washington and Pekin want a City officer’s permission, Morton does not allow it, and West Peoria, Bartonville and Dunlap publish no rule. On a driveway or private lot there is nothing to file anywhere we deliver, apart from East Peoria’s $25 container permit and the day limits in Peoria, East Peoria and Morton.

What if I need it longer?

Tell us and we extend it. Extra days are charged at the daily rate quoted when you booked; in Peoria we help you ask Community Development for the written extension past two weeks, and in East Peoria we renew the 30-day permit.

What a roll-off rental includes

One flat price covers delivery, the rental period you asked for, pickup and a disposal weight allowance that depends on the container size. The per-ton overage rate, applied only if your load goes over the allowance, is stated on the same quote. There is no fuel surcharge and no separate disposal charge. Extra days beyond the agreed period, a second trip because the container could not be delivered or collected, or moving it once placed are charged at the rates we give you when you book.

Delivery day

The truck needs about 60 feet of straight room to back in and roll the container off, and about 14 feet of overhead clearance free of low wires and branches. We put the door end where you tell us so you can walk material in, and lay boards under the rails on request. You do not need to be there; a marked spot or a photo is enough.

Loading and pickup

Load level with the top rail; the truck has to tarp the container and travel legally, and an overfilled box gets levelled before it leaves. Keep prohibited items out: landscape waste, whole tires, appliances, lead-acid batteries, motor oil, electronics, liquids and hazardous chemicals all have their own routes in Illinois. Call when the container is full or the job is done and we collect it, usually within a business day, and haul it to a permitted facility.
